In the city, you'll find them near metro, tram, and other transport stops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These machines also allow you to add credit to your IstanbulKart balance; I'll explain more about this below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"caja-linea\">In the city, you may come across some machines that don't sell IstanbulKart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The machines are easy to use and have a language selector with several options. Some of the languages are on the second screen\u2014you'll need to press the arrow to access them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To buy a card, select IstanbulKart, choose the amount you want to add, and proceed with payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Precio_Forma_de_Pago_y_Vida_Util\"><\/span>Price, Payment Options, and Card Lifespan<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"caja-linea\">\u2714\ufe0f Prices updated in January 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current price of an IstanbulKart is 165 TL (3.27 euros), and it is not a returnable card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You'll need to load credit onto the card to use public transportation. You can top up the card with a maximum of 500 TL (10.65 euros), all at once or in multiple transactions.
