The beach is long, so even in high season there\u2019s plenty of space. You\u2019ll find sunbeds, umbrellas, beach bars, and even water activities. It was named after actor Anthony Quinn, who fell in love with the spot while filming The Guns of Navarone. And I totally get it. Crystal-clear water, rocky surroundings, and a magical vibe. It\u2019s a pebbly beach, not sandy, and not very big\u2014so if you\u2019re visiting in high season, get there early. St. Paul&#039;s Bay (Lindos)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A beautiful cove right next to the whitewashed village of Lindos. The water is calm and warm\u2014perfect for a relaxing swim. The beach is a mix of sand and pebbles. From the top, you get an incredible view of the bay\u2014it looks like a hidden lagoon from up there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can reach Lindos by bus or car. There are several parking spots along the road near the village, and one closer to St. Paul\u2019s Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Agathi_Beach\"><\/span>4. Agathi Beach<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Perfect if you\u2019re looking for soft sand and shallow water\u2014great for families with little kids. There are sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, and a couple of beach bars. It\u2019s easy to reach by car, but if you\u2019re taking the bus, you\u2019ll have to walk a couple of kilometers from the main road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Prasonisi_Beach\"><\/span>5. Prasonisi Beach<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A natural wonder\u2014this is where the Aegean and Mediterranean seas meet. It\u2019s a sandy beach and super windy. There are a few restaurants in the nearby village, but honestly, I don\u2019t remember seeing any sunbeds\u2014and umbrellas would be useless with all that wind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s totally worth visiting even if you\u2019re not into kitesurfing. Once you\u2019re there, you can walk across the sand strip to the little island and check out the lighthouse.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/viajerosactivos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/playa-de-prasonisi-rodas.webp\" alt=\"Prasonisi Beach, Rhodes\" class=\"wp-image-31503\" srcset=\"https:\/\/viajerosactivos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/playa-de-prasonisi-rodas.webp 900w, https:\/\/viajerosactivos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/playa-de-prasonisi-rodas-300x200.webp 300w, https:\/\/viajerosactivos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/playa-de-prasonisi-rodas-768x512.webp 768w, https:\/\/viajerosactivos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/playa-de-prasonisi-rodas-18x12.webp 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The easiest way to get to Prasonisi is by car. There are also a couple of buses daily from Rhodes and some coastal towns, but only during high season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6_Elli_Beach\"><\/span>6. Elli Beach<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Right in the city of Rhodes, this is the go-to urban beach that stretches across the whole northern tip of the island. It\u2019s fully equipped, with bars, sunbeds, and umbrellas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">My favorite part is the famous diving platform where you can jump from different heights\u2014the highest is 10 meters. It\u2019s also the best spot for parasailing in Rhodes. The views over the city and Elli Beach are amazing. It\u2019s a pebbly beach, and the water gets deep fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"7_Ladiko_Beach\"><\/span>7. Surrounded by greenery and with crystal-clear water that\u2019s perfect for snorkeling. There are a couple of bars and sunbeds to rent. So bring water, food, and be ready to hike a bit to get there. But if you love raw nature, you\u2019re going to love this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"11_Oasis_Beach\"><\/span>11. Oasis Beach <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A charming little cove near Kallithea Springs. Ialyssos Beach <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Very similar to Ixia, with waves and wind. Also popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers. You\u2019ll find beach bars, hotels, and all the usual amenities.
