You’ll find the Central Market, White Bridge, and a few lively squares with cafés, shops, and even some restaurants with live music at night. It’s a charming area with cobblestone streets and historic buildings.

Even though I say it’s lively, Kutaisi is a very calm city overall — don’t expect a big nightlife scene or or daily activity.

You’ll mostly find mid-range hotels and family-run guesthouses here. It’s also a good area if you’re looking for something a bit more upscale.

This area is near Bagrati Cathedral and makes a good base if you want to explore the surroundings of Kutaisi, especially if you have a car.
