Who am I?
I'm Andrea Rodríguez, the creator and writer behind Viajeros Activos (Active Travelers). I was born and raised in Uruguay, then moved to Spain—my adopted home—where I lived for almost two decades.

I have a degree in Marketing and a master's in International Trade, a field I worked in for 15 years. Sports have always been a big part of my life, and I have experience in swimming, karate, windsurfing, and yoga.
In 2019, I began my slow nomadic journey and created this travel blog to inspire other active travelers to explore the world at their own pace.
Before becoming a nomad, I had already lived in Spain, France, and Greece. Since 2019, I've called Thailand, Georgia, and Greece home.

Viajeros Activos
Viajeros Activos is a travel blog focused on adventure experiences—from hiking, climbing, and surfing to more relaxing activities like yoga.
I explore each destination from a local’s perspective, traveling slowly and discovering authentic places that only locals know about. For now, the blog covers Southeast Asia, the Caucasus, and Europe… with many more destinations to come!
