Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The Yoga Alliance certification is the best because it’s the most widely recognized internationally. It allows you to teach almost anywhere and take additional courses to deepen your practice.
Even if you’re not interested in teaching yoga or taking more courses right now, that might change. The certification is affordable and will open doors for you.
As of March 2025, the registration fee for Yoga Alliance is 115 USD (105.49 euros).
For the course, you’ll only need comfortable clothing and a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
The yoga center provides all the materials, but I recommend bringing your own mat if you have space in your suitcase. If not, a great alternative is a yoga towel, which is lightweight and compact.
I personally use one like this. You can place it over the mat for better hygiene and extra grip at the same time.
If you click the link for the yoga training you're interested in, you'll find a green button at the bottom labeled "Send Inquiry." The organizers will reply to you directly. 😉
